Pinch Pot

First attempted pinch pot made, i added wavy designs so it could look more presentable. I started kneading the clay just to get the first time feel for the clay then i shaped it into a ball, from there i created a hole and started working the clay with my thumbs and kind of kept shaping it til it looked like a bowl, i tried my best to evenly distribute the clay so that it doesnt look like some parts are too thick or too thin, after that i created the foot of the bowl. After making the bowl i used the sponge tool and the metal looking tool to smooth out the surface of the pot as best as i could. The pot stand was kind of hard to make especially when it would sink, so i tried my best to work with the stand when its in the leather hard stage. After i was done i put the pot out in the open so it could form into a leather hard stage and it is ready to be put into the kilm.

This is another pinch pot that i made, first i created two pinch pots, same method as i did with the first pinch pot, except i didnt add wavy designs, once i have made both pots, i decided to let it sit for a little bit because it was too wet, and was very hard to work with, i then combined both pots together creating some kind of jar that could hold water, i joined the two pots using slip, basically wet clay that binds and two clay together, it is then smoothed out by the sponge tool and the metal tool so that the surface can look evenly distributed especially the part where the pot joins so it wont show the line where it joined by the next class, the pot became leather hard, shown on the second picture where it was really firm and easy to hold. The third picture shows the hole I've made so that water can be poured in and out of the pot, the heart stamp shows that it is my work.
